The Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them. It provides information and support, runs quality care services, funds research, advises professionals and campaigns for improved health and social care and greater public understanding and awareness of dementia.

Kanga Project
We support grassroots organisations in Tanzania that focus on women’s empowerment through training and micro-loans. BASIC
BASIC provides a specialist resource at the Neurocare Centre for people and their families in crisis following a traumatic brain injury or neurological diagnosis. This includes people recovering from severe head injury, brain haemorrhage, brain tumour and other brain-related conditions such as stroke and brain cancer. With over ten years experience of working with this client group we have built up specialist expertise and knowledge from the grass roots.

J's Hospice
The aim of The J’s Hospice is to build and equip a hospice for young adults aged 18-40 diagnosed with a life threatening illness, in Essex and surrounding counties. The J’s will have facilities for recreation, entertainment and study in an attractive and relaxed atmosphere allowing the best quality of adult life as independently as is possible. Building The J’s will cost £5 million and a further £1.5 million each year once built.
