The Great South Run is a firm favourite in the Mind events calendar. The flat 10 mile course is an ideal race for all running abilities and perfect for gaining a personal best.

Whether you have your own place or would like a Mind guaranteed place we will be with you every step of the way. We offer all our runners a fantastic support package including:
- loads of training and fundraising advice
- regular e-newsletter updates
- a Mind running vest with your name overprinted
- a post race reception with refreshments
- a dedicated and experienced project manager to provide support and advice.
We will do all that we can to ensure that your Great South Run experience is one you will never forget.
There are two ways in which you can join the Mind team:
1. Each year Mind have a number of guaranteed places in the event and if you would like to run on one of these we ask that you pay a registration fee of £25 and raise a minimum sponsorship of £225.
2. If you were lucky enough to gain your own place from the event organisers we would love you to be a part of our team too. We do not set you a minimum sponsorship target but ask you raise what you can.
We would love you to join our team, whether you have your own place, or would like a charity place, simply get in touch to register.
Mind is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales and by joining our team you will enable us to continue to provide support to the 1 in 4 people who experience mental distress in their life times.
£200 pays for the MindinfoLine to remain open for 2 hours, answering on average, the concerns of 28 people in need of support and information.
