UPDATE - MISSION COMPLETE !!
What a fantastic experience, enjoyed every moment of my time in China - Thank you so much for sponsoring me and in turn helping out worthy causes in our county - it's not too late to donate so feel free to do the right thing - Many Thanks - Dean
Hi,
This year has been a significant milestone for me with an '0' birthday. In order to mark this in a significant way, my best buddy and I pledged we would do something memorable.
So here it is, a 120 kilometre trek along the Great Wall of China.
Most of you will know that if easyjet had flights to the pub I would be first at check in, but this will require lots of preparation and I would imagine unspeakably painful joints, limbs and muscles.
So before I talk myself out of this, please support in whatever way you are able. I will be grateful whether your help is great or small. It is quite a big target so please dig deep.
A website has been created by DPS at www.chinatrek2010.com in order to track my progress so please visit from time to time. Training in full will start after my holiday late August/early September.
The charity organisers have assured us that the money raised by ‘Trekkers’ from Suffolk will stay in the county.
Remember, if you are a UK taxpayer an extra 25% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
In anticipation, many thanks for your support,
Dean Willingham
