Established in 1998 we built and opened a home for 24 children with special needs in Comanesti Romania in 2000. ‘Casa Lumina’ is a home for life where each person is treated with respect and receives the care and stimulation they deserve. ‘Casa Albert’ is a hospice providing community palliative care to a growing number of children and young people with incurable physical conditions with poor life expectancy, for example, childhood cancers or Leukaemia, muscular dystrophy, HIV/AIDS and TB.
