Alzheimer's Society

The Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them. It provides information and support, runs quality care services, funds research, advises professionals and campaigns for improved health and social care and greater public understanding and awareness of dementia.

The Society for Abandoned Animals
Based in the Trafford area of Greater Manchester SAA rescues and rehomes unwanted and abandoned dogs, cats and rabbits. All animals are neutered prior to rehoming and the society carries out home checks for all potential new owners. Money is raised through fundraising and adoption/admission fees.

Naomi House Children’s Hospice
They offer caring support to families in need across Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex, Wiltshire and the Isle of Wight.Over and above their care for the children, they offer bereavement support for as long as a family requires after the death of their child.

The Foyer Federation
All young people need a home, support and a springboard into independent living, learning and work. Some don’t get it, Foyers fill the gap. Since launching in 1992, the UK Foyer network has grown to over 131 local Foyers supporting more than 10,000 homeless 16 to 25 year-olds each year. Foyers enable young people at risk to escape the ‘no home-no job-no home’ cycle by delivering a holistic service that integrates accommodation with training, job search, personal support and motivation.

The Jessie May Trust
The Jessie May Trust is a Bristol-based charity that provides nursing care at home for children with a terminal illness. Jessie May nurses visit the children at home where they feel most comfortable in familiar surroundings, and the presence of a qualified children's nurse enables parents and carers to have break. The Jessie May Trust respite service is used by 56 familes across North Somerset, Bristol and Gloucestershire.

St Clare Hospice
St Clare Hospice provides specialist care for local people with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, including, symptom control, emotional and spirtual support to both patients and their families. Our Hospice serves the whole of West Essex and East Herts. These services are free to patients and their families but costs us over £2m per year. Please help us to continue to support many others.

Homerton Hospital Charitable Fund
Homerton Hospital Charitable Fund provides the 'little extras' for patients of Homerton Hospital and their families. Based in east London the hospital serves 300,000 patients each year. Your support could help us provide Family Rooms for parents who have premature babies or specialist equipment for patients with communication difficulties.

The Society for Mucopolysaccharide Diseases
The Society founded in 1982 by a group of parents who had experienced these diseases in their own families. These rare and life-threatening genetic conditions are little understood. The Society offers vital support to children and young adults suffering from MPS and Related Diseases, parents, partners and siblings as all cope with the physically exhausting and emotionally draining impact of the diseases' relentless progress.

The Laura Crane Trust
"Laura’s illness was one of only dozens of such cases ever reported in the whole world. Before the founding of The Laura Crane Trust in October 1996 there was no funding aimed specifically at research into cancers which affect this age group. Research undertaken from the funds we raise will ultimately bring increased understanding of cancer in this age group, better prevention, improved treatments and more saving of young lives.

The Medical Foundation for the care of Victims of Torture
The Medical Foundation aims to: Provide survivors of torture in the United Kingdom with medical treatment, practical assistance and psychotherapeutic support. Document evidence of torture. Provide training for health professionals working with torture survivors. Educate the public and decision-makers about torture and its consequences. Ensure that Britain honours its international obligations towards survivors of torture, asylum seekers and refugees.

Jubilee Action
Jubilee Action is a Christian based international human rights charity, dedicated to protecting children at risk and combating poverty. Our vision is to be instrumental in changing the lives of those who suffer unjustly.
