Children's Hospice South West first welcomed families in 1995 to Little Bridge House, North Devon, and opened Charlton Farm near Bristol in April 2007. We now care for almost 400 families each year. We operate the only two children's hospices in the South West offering respite, relaxation, 24-hour care of life-limited children and support for families in bereavement. The Precious Lives Appeal was launched in September 2007 to raise funds to build a third children’s hospice in Cornwall.

The Jessie May Trust
The Jessie May Trust is a Bristol-based charity that provides nursing care at home for children with a terminal illness. Jessie May nurses visit the children at home where they feel most comfortable in familiar surroundings, and the presence of a qualified children's nurse enables parents and carers to have break. The Jessie May Trust respite service is used by 56 familes across North Somerset, Bristol and Gloucestershire.

KIDS

We work closely with parents and carers to give children and young people all the support they need today to fulfil their hopes and dreams tomorrow. We want to transform attitudes so that all children have the chance to be included in the play and learning of everyday life.

Skill: National Bureau for Students with Disabilities
Disabled people are being told, wrongly, that their choices in life are limited by their disabilities. Skill works UK-wide, offers free advice and information about rights and opportunities, to help disabled people find courses and training opportunities, get support, gain qualifications and find jobs. Disability need not be a barrier.

The Society for Mucopolysaccharide Diseases
The Society founded in 1982 by a group of parents who had experienced these diseases in their own families. These rare and life-threatening genetic conditions are little understood. The Society offers vital support to children and young adults suffering from MPS and Related Diseases, parents, partners and siblings as all cope with the physically exhausting and emotionally draining impact of the diseases' relentless progress.

Donna Louise Trust
The donna louise trust provides respite and end of life care, both within Treetops children's hospice and the home to children and their families, who through illness or accident are not expected to live beyond their teenage years. We need to raise £1.8 million every year from members of the local community to fund this service.
