NPIMR is a medical research charity. One of its main focus is the Heart and Stroke Research Campaign. Heart and stroke diseases are still the biggest cause of death globally. NPIMR's focus of research is proteomics, studying proteins in disease state to provide better ways of diagnosing and treating these conditions. The will one day save many lives.
