We are looking for teams from all over The UK to take part in a unique residential team building experience. The Challenge has been especially devised to give you an enjoyable and fun weekend whilst at the same time providing you with the opportunity to take on new personal challenges and acquire team building skills.
The weekend consists of four major elements – "The Journey", High Impact Activities, Timed Challenges and The Grand Finale - each element providing a different team challenge as follows:
All your team members must cover the distance of 'The Journey' which could be by land, water or air. The secret will be team-work as no points are scored unless ALL team members make it.
Take on our adrenaline-inducing activities such as the high ropes course, zip slide, abseil and the famous 'Trapeze'.
The faster the better is the motto in our timed challenge but this has nothing to do with speed across the ground as brain will be more important than brawn.
The points are level and it's all down to the final event – can your team pull out all the stops and finish with a flourish or will you fall at the last hurdle and let 1st prize slip through your grasp?

Simply get a team of 8 people together and between all of you raise the £3,500 minimum sponsorship money. That's under £440 per person although some people can raise more and others less as long as the team total of £3500 is raised. Please do not be put off by this amount – you may find that your company will pay the booking deposit for you or perhaps even match your fundraising efforts pound for pound, so please make sure you ask them for help!
You can take part at any one of three idyllic locations across the UK: Scottish Highlands, Lake District or North Wales - a space is provided on the booking form for you to indicate your preferred centre. There is also a space for you to indicate your chosen date for the Challenge – which can take place on most weekends throughout the year.
All team members should be aged between 14 and 60 and not vastly overweight in relation to their height. You do not have to be an athlete to participate in The Outward Bound® Challenge but you should be reasonably fit and if anybody has any doubts at all about their suitability to take part they should seek their doctor's advice.
Simply complete the online booking form as soon as possible. Please note you must also provide a team booking deposit of £800 which can be taken out of your team's minimum sponsorship money.
On the day of the event you will be required to pay the activity centre for your weekend Challenge which will be £900 (inclusive of all food, accommodation and vat). You will also be required to provide your remaining £1800 sponsorship money due to the charity (£3,500 sponsorship money less £800 deposit less £900 activity centre payment) but this payment may be post-dated by up to four weeks to allow you plenty of time to collect your sponsorship money after the event. Full details of the above payment system will be sent to you by return as soon as you reserve your place.
