Please sponsor me now! Help raise funds for underprivileged young people in our area. Yes I am going on a trek to China, but want to point out that this is not for a holiday as some may think! I would not really choose to walk 120km up and down mountain sides, I would much rather be soaking up the sun by a pool with a nice cool coctail!
My first aim for doing this is to raise money for children, as the header to this page from Have a Heart outlines, we want to raise money to to provide help and assistance to underprivileged children. The fact I do get to the Great Wall of China is a bonus, and will only be achieved if I raise the minimum sponsorship. This will ensure tht money does go to these children.

My charity will receive your money quickly and easy and if you are a UK taxpayer an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
I really, really want to do this event. I want to feel I have done something good for someone else in my life, and want to experience something so fantastic, that I probably otherwise will never do. It will be my birthday while I am there, and it will be something fantastic to look back on!
I don't have rich friends or family, so I have to raise this money myself by begging, borrowing or stealing (only kidding), so please please pleeeaaasse be generous and sponsor me! You are my only hope!
I will be taking lots of photos and using a camcorder (if only to have a break from the walking!!!) and will post them on FaceBook and Friends Reunited if I can.
The distance I will be covering is about 75 miles (double figures - that's not good!) over about five days.
