This enchanting cycle explores the cities, royal palaces, dazzling green paddy fields and temples of the Mekong Delta before finishing at Angkor Wat. Pedal your way across two magical countries, taking in the wealth of experiences each has to offer.
The Vietnam to Cambodia Cycle is the perfect challenge
for any adventurer. From the bustling Vietnamese
city of Ho Chi Minh City to the serene temple of Angkor Wat in
Cambodia, the route has its fair share of charm.

DAY 1: Depart London for Ho Chi Minh City

DAY 2: Ho Chi Minh City
Upon arrival we'll quickly get a feel for the hustle and bustle of this fascinating city as we transfer to our hotel where we'll have full trip briefing.
DAY 3: Ho Chi Minh - Tra Vinh
We transfer out of Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta, and catch a ferry across the Tien Giang River where our challenge begins! We cycle along the sugar cane and banana plantations of the Delta before arriving at our first nights stop. Approx 62km.
DAY 4: Tra Vinh - Can Tho
Our first full day of cycling will take us deep into local life, crossing wooden bridges and traversing estuaries. This afternoon we take quiet backroads through villages, offering a glimpse into the lives of the local people. Approx 80km.
DAY 5: Can Tho - Long Xuyen - Chau Doc
Our last day of stunning cycling in Vietnam and this morning we'll visit the famous floating market of Cai Rang before mounting our bikes and following the river, busy with trade. Approx 95km.
DAY 6: Chau Doc - Phnom Penh - Koh Dach
We start today catching a speed boat up the river to Phnom Penh, Cambodia's capital city. After a relaxing lunch at a traditional Khmer restaurant we'll have the chance for a cycle on Koh Dach Island. Approx 20km
DAY 7: Phnom Penh - Kampong Thom
Our route today leads us through the lush landscape of the area which is littered with old Royal Palaces and rubber plantations; today gives us a great comparison between Vietnam and Cambodia. Approx 70km.
DAY 8: Kampong Thom - Siem Reap - Angkor Wat
Our last day of cycling! We make our way towards Siem Reap and the grand Angkor Wat. After watching the sun set over the beautiful monument we park our bikes for the final time and prepare for the evenings celebrations!
DAY 9: Siem Reap and Angkor Wat
Today is your free day to explore the beautiful and engulfing Angkor Wat, the national symbol of Cambodia! This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the largest religious monuments in the world. DAY 10: Siem Reap - London
This morning we bid farewell to Cambodia and our adventures along the Mekong Delta and head to the airport for our flight home.

There are limited places available on our next Vietnam to Cambodia bike ride.

This can vary between locations from 10-31C at this time of year. On the whole days will be hot and humid.
Flights and all internal travel, accommodation, all meals during cycling days, water, local guides, Skyline Tour Leader and UK Doctor. Bicycle hire is included but you must bring your own helmet.
What's not included?
Personal travel insurance, airline taxes (due to their fluctuating nature we will confirm this amount 6-8 weeks before departure; for this trip we estimate these will be £250), three meals, local tips, and any additional activities.
Passports & Visas
A valid ten-year passport is essential for travel
to Vietnam and Cambodia and must be valid for at least 6 months after entry. A
visa is required for entry into both Vietnam and Cambodia; you should apply for
an e-visa for Vietnam before travel and you can obtain a Cambodian visa upon
arrival. Skyline will provide further information approximately 3 months before
We recommend you are vaccinated against Hepatitis A, Typhoid & Polio. You must have had a Tetanus injection in the last 10 years. Malarial protection is necessary for most areas in Vietnam and Cambodia. The best protection against malaria is to avoid getting bitten, so use plenty of insect repellent and cover up, especially wrists and ankles, in the early morning and late afternoon/evening. You should always contact your GP or travel clinic for the latest travel health advice.
You'll enjoy traditional dishes throughout the cycle such as meat and vegetables accompanied with rice and noodles. Most dietary requirements can be catered for, please advise us at point of booking.
Throughout the ride you will stay in comfortable 2/3* hotels on a twin basis sharing with someone of the same gender and a similar age.
